THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE
The biggest di fference between an ape and a
human is that humans have souls and apes don’t .
Humans have consciousness: they think, speak and
c onv e y t he i r t hough t s t o o t he r s i n r a t i ona l
sentences , make dec i s i ons , fee l , deve l op tastes ,
know about art , paint , compose songs , s ing and
are ful l of love and values. Al l of these faculties
are particular to the human soul . Animals do not
have souls. No one other than a human could have
these unique features.
E v o l u t i on i s t s a r e unab l e t o an swe r t h i s
question. To resemble a human, an ape would have
to go through many phys i cal changes and would
hav e t o hav e t he o t he r f a c u l t i e s pe c u l i a r t o
human beings . Is there any force in nature that
can gi ve such abi l i t i es as paint ing, thinking, or
composing to any ape? Of course not!
Al lah created only humans wi th such abi l i t ies
and He ha s no t g i v en an ima l s any o f t he s e
faculties. The human has been a human from the
day he was created. The fish were always fish and
the b i rds were a lways b i rds . No creature i s the
ancestor of another . A l l ah i s the Creator of a l l
humans and al l other l iving beings.
