because, as we have already said, we need to breathe
in order to l ive. For this we need oxygen.
4. One of the most important things that make it
possible for us to survive is water . No organism can
l ive without water . For this reason, Al lah has created
s ome pa r t s o f ea r t h a s wa t e r . T h r e e qua r t e r s o f
earth’s surface is covered with water . However, there
is no water on any of the other planets nor is there
any water on the moon that you see at n i ght . The
e s s en t i a l s f o r l i v i ng t h i ng s a r e on l y ava i l ab l e on
earth.
Many events on earth make i t poss ibl e for us to
l i ve . I f even on l y one of these event s doesn ’ t take
place, no l iving thing would be left on earth. So, is it
poss ibl e that these thousands of events have come
together spontaneous ly and formed such a place as
earth? Of course not . Not even one of these events
could happen by chance. Al lah has created earth for
human beings. And, because of this, earth is the most
suitable place for us.
You can give the fol lowing example to those that
c laim earth and the whole universe were formed by
chance. Let ’s say that you are playing on the beach
and you see some big waves approaching, so you go
home . When you r e t u r n t o t he bea c h a f t e r a f ew
hours, you see an amazing sight . On the shore there is
a wonde r f u l c i t y made o f s and . T he r e a r e hou s e s ,
ho s p i t a l s , an a i r po r t , and bu s e s . T he r e a r e e v en
human figures. You ask a friend who is passing if he
knows how these things occurred. If he repl i ed, “ I
think the big waves that reached the shore must have
formed them,” what would you think? Wouldn’t you be
suspicious that your fr iend imagined i t , or wouldn’ t
you l augh th i nk i ng that he mus t be j ok i ng or had
perhaps become insane?
