kingdom, and taught me the inter-
pretation of dreams. O Creator of
the heavens and the earth! You are
my Protector in this world and in the
Hereafter. Take my soul at death as
a servant submitting to Your will,
and unite me with the righteous in
the hereafter

CHAPTER 23
Nabi
Ya’qub [a] and his family
stayed in the land of Egypt for a
very long time, until he breathed his
last and died there.
Although
Nabi
Yusuf [a] was a pow-
erful ruler who enjoyed every com-
fort, this did not distract him from
worshipping Allah and serving him
devoutly. It did not change him in
any way. He remembered Allah
constantly, worshipped Him and
