decided to leave for Egypt immedi-
ately. After all, he longed to see his
dear boy, Yusuf. They had been
separated for so many long years.
And so the family of
Nabi
Ya’qub [a]
prepared to leave for Egypt. They
packed all their household belong-
ings and other useful things for the
journey. The tents were rolled up
neatly and thrown over the backs of
their camels. The flocks of sheep
and goats were herded together.
They were now prepared for the
long journey.
