CHAPTER 11
The noble Yusuf [a], Prophet of
Allah, now found himself locked up
behind rusty iron bars in a dark,
cold jail cell. He never once lost
hope because he knew he was
innocent and Allah was always mer-
ciful to his obedient servants.
There shall be good in this,
” Yusuf
said to himself. And so it was to be.
One day, the door of his cell was
opened and two men were pushed
in. One of them, a short fat man,
was a baker and the other, a tall
lean one, was a butler. Both were
accused by the king of wrongdoing
and were awaiting judgement.

panions and felt less lonely. But, as
