What would happen as a result of al l this?
Do you think that lambs, violets, cherries, bunnies,
be e s , me l on s , c a t s , dog s , s qu i r r e l s , r o s e s , p l ums ,
strawberries, fish, elephants, giraffes, and l ions could
come out of thi s barrel ? Could a person who thinks ,
becomes joyful , becomes exc i ted, enjoys l i stening to
music and reading books come out of this barrel?
Of course not!
Ne i ther could anyone l ike the professors keeping
wa t c h o v e r t he ba r r e l eme r ge . No t on l y c ou l d a
professor not emerge, not even one of the professor’s
tri l l ions of cel ls could emerge.
Atoms are l ifeless. Can l ifeless matter l ink together
to produce a l iving, laughing, thinking being?
Could an intel l igent person bel ieve such a thing? Of
course, no l iving thing could come out of that barrel .
That is impossible, because l iving things aren’t made
up of l ifeless matter coming together by coincidence.
Al lah created al l l iving things. Al lah decided to create
humans , mountains , lakes , lambs , l ions , and f lowers
when there was nothing around, and He has created
everything from nothingness just by giving the order
“Be!”
