The Prophet in the Qur’an

follow the right path, leaving his own personal fate
to God.
This example set by the Prophet has to be adopted,
unconditionally, by the
dayee
in his dealings with
the
madu.
No other course is lawful for a preacher of
truth.
A POSITIVE RESPONSE
Addressing the Prophet of Islam, God says in the
Qur’an:
“Call men to the path of your Lord with wisdom
and mild exhortation. Reason with them in the
most courteous manner. Your Lord best knows
those who stray from His path and best knows
those who are rightly guided.”
(16:125)
The Qur’an says at another place:
And who speaks better than he who calls others to
the service of God, does what is right and says: ‘I
am one of the Muslims.
Good and evil deeds are
not alike. Requite evil with good, and he between
whom and you is enmity will become your dearest
friend. (41:33-34)
