We know that the Jews tried to kill
the previous prophet of Allah, Nabi
‘Isa [a] (Jesus) and Bahira feared
that they may try to do the same to
Muhammad.
Abu Talib therefore returned to
Makkah with Muhammad and did
not make any more business jour-
neys to Sham.
Abu Talib continued to teach
Muhammad about business and
trade, and Muhammad grew up to
become the most able and trusted
businessman in Makkah. There
were certain qualities present in
Muhammad which very few had in
his time. He had the best manners,
was the most truthful and reliable
and he had the purist habits. He
was praised by all as ‘
Al-Amin
’, ‘The
Most Trustworthy’ of men. The peo-
ple of Makkah would even leave
their most valuable possessions
with Muhammad for safekeeping.
