Wudu’
is necessary before any of
the following:
1) Performing
Salah
.
2) Carrying or touching the Holy
Qur’an
or any
Ayah
of the Holy
Qur’an
when it is not covered by
a piece of cloth or in a bag.
3) Performing
Tawaf
(ie. walking
around) the
Ka’bah
.
4) Performing
Sajdah Tilawah
(These are special verses in the
Holy
Qur’an
which require that
a
sajdah,
a prostration, be
made on reciting them).
