Under the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry, the Al Maktoum
Foundation has worked tirelessly for six years to alleviate suffering around the world. The
Foundation has also gained a reputation for its effectiveness in developing infrastructure
projects, building schools. Orphanages, medical clinics and hospitals, supporting
colleges and universities, and instigation sustainable economic projects across the globe
in both the developed and developing worlds, especially in Africa. In this way the lives
of hundreds of thousands of people have been touched and many generations of children
have been emancipated from poverty, ill-health and illiteracy.
Another key task that Sheikh Hamdan set the Foundation is to promote a broad
understanding of Islam and Islamic culture and values around the world. The 21th
Century has been called the infornation age, a period in human history where differing
cultures and religions are exposed to each other more than ever before. Because of this,
the Al Maktoum Foundation strives in a hugely important task, to promote genuine
understanding of Islam, a religion of peace, tolerance and social progress.
We are delighted to premote Harun Yahya publication which we hope that it will
find its way into the hands of people across the world, providing a platorm that will allow
them to fully understand Islam in its true from.
