should, on the contrary, direct its efforts to
impressing its ideology upon the public which is
later to vote it to power. The five-year period
should be devoted to bringing about changes in
public opinion by peaceful methods. If the defeated
group succeeds in influencing the voters, it will
automatically be voted to power in the next
elections. It will then find the opportunity to
reconstruct
the
country’s
political
and
administrative systems along its own ideological
lines.
Wholehearted acceptance of election results,
followed by the adoption of a waiting policy, while
one’s own ideology continues to be propagated in a
peaceful manner, is the only practicable course. This
is the only way to influence the minds of the voters,
without running counter to the genuine interests of
the country.
