made the theory of polytheism doubtful for the
modem man.
The latest and decisive blow to polytheism came
from what is called Superstring Theory. Prior to it,
scientists conventionally believed that there were
four natural forces working in the universe, that is
Gravity, Electromagnetic force, Week neuclear force
and Strong Neuclear force. However, keeping in
view the unified system and order of the universe,
the belief of four forces working behind them
always urged the scientists like Einstein and others
to think that this number must be brought to one.
Now, a team of American scientists, after an
exhaustive research, has arrived at the conclusion
that there is only one force which controls the
whole universe. This singular force is named
