could certainly hope to have it.”
IT IS A WISE MAN WHO FEARS GOD
“Wisdom comes from fear of God,” said Abdullah
ibn Masud. Commenting on the verse of the Qur’an,
“He grants wisdom unto whom He will,” Abul
Aliyah said that here wisdom meant fear of God, for
true wisdom could come only from fear of God.”
