OR HATE
Umar once cautioned: “Do not become mad with
love for anyone, nor seek to destroy with your
dislike.” Aslam asked Umar that what this meant.
“It means that when you love anyone, there is the
danger of falling head over heels, like a child, and
when you dislike someone, you become bent upon
destroying him.”
