and replied that those who said such things are
liars. “Can you imagine yourself doing such a
thing?” he asked his wife. “Certainly not,” she
answered. “Well, how much more chaste and pure
Aishah is than you. Why should such actions be
attributed to her?” asked Abu Ayub of his wife.
