Nature. This teaches us the lesson that we should
give a positive response at all times, even in the face
of negative situations.
An exhortation to follow Nature’s example is
exactly what Christ expressed in these divine
words:
‘Our Father in Heaven! Hallowed be Your
name, Your Kingdom come; Your Will be
done on earth as it is in Heaven.’ (Matthew
6:10)
The second conference on peace, under the auspices
of the Nuclear Disarmament Forum, was held at
Ashdown Park Hotel, London, from 18 to 21
September, 2001. As an invitee to this conference,
which was attended by delegates from different
parts of the world, I made a speech during the
deliberations. The text of this speech is reproduced
hereunder.
