one is going to have to answer before God for one’s
actions. One does not see others as mere people; one
realizes that the Almighty God is also standing by
their side. What we must do is strive to save
ourselves and our fellows from the punishment of
the next world. The prophets have taught that man
should make every effort to save himself from
eternal doom. We must do our utmost to protect
ourselves from the torment of Judgement Day and
exhort others to do the same. There is no task in life
more important than this. This is the Muslims’
fundamental task. Only if they perform this task can
they hope to obtain that which they desire in this
world.
