Muhammad was also troubled by
how people always seemed to be
struggling for power and money,
and that once rich and powerful,
they became arrogant and showed
no kindness and generosity to the
poor and needy.
Muhammad grew up to be a hand-
some, healthy boy, respected by
everyone. He spoke politely, respect-
ed his elders, showed love and kind-
ness to small children, and helped
widows, orphans, and the poor. He did
not waste his time in silly games and
mischief. He never worshipped idols
nor was he ever obscene. Though
Muhammad (S) was an orphan,
alone, Allah protected him from the
evil ways of the young men of
Makkah. After all, he was being pre-
pared for a very special mission. He
was to one day become the Last and
Final, Prophet of Allah.
